I taught fitness for many years in addition pursuing my education and career, but really fell I love with yoga during my first pregnancy over 20 years ago. In 2016, I decided I no longer wanted to teach gym fitness classes and decided to focus only on yoga.
Currently I am a certified 200RYT. I teach a variety of formats such as Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Nidra. I love the spiritual side of yoga, yoga philosophy and history, and work with the subtle body. I love to create a space that is welcoming and one that allows people to go inward and connect mind/body.
Outside of yoga I run a large social services agency in the region. I have a masters in business and currently pursing a second masters degree in public health (will be done May 23). I hold yoga retreats and love to travel in my spare time. I also love to cook and interior design.
